Shooting contest scheduled for Feb.18

GRAY — The Louisiana High School Basketball Coaches Association will be hosting a 3-point shooting contest on Feb. 18 at H.L. Bourgeois High School.

The event will begin with registration at 12:15 p.m., and the contest will follow at 1 p.m.

The contest is open to any high school student that is apart of a Louisiana High School Athletic Association boys or girls basketball team, and there is charge to participate.. All participants are required to bring a signed registration form from their coach, and all students under age 18 must have parental signature to participate.

The winners of the contest will have an opportunity to compete statewide at the LHSBCA all-star game. Admission is free.
