CL, Ellender post wins at alumni games

Former local football players from Central Lafourche and Ellender enjoyed victories during the Gridiron Alumni games held on Friday and Saturday.

Central Lafourche's alumni team picked up a 28-26 victory over South Lafourche at Tarpons Memorial Stadium in Galliano on Friday. The

Tarpons missed a two-point conversion attempt in the final minute to seal the Trojans win.

On Saturday, Ellender defeated South Terrebonne 37-27 at South Terrebonne Memorial Stadium.
