Local volleyball players honored

The Louisiana Volleyball Coaches Association has announced its 2012 all-state team and five local prep volleyball players made the list.

H.L. Bourgeois player Shannon Jones made the Division I team. Assumption’s Erineka Mollere was a Division II selection and in Division III, Emily Weimer and Sydney Bordis of E.D. White Catholic and Maggie Hamilton of Vandebilt Catholic were honored with the recognition.
