Tarpons fall to Catholic-Baton Rouge

The South Lafourche Tarpons dropped their fourth-straight game with a 40-37 loss to Catholic-Baton Rouge on Friday in a nondistrict game.

South Lafourche (7-5 overall) led 8-4 after the first quarter, but Catholic rallied to take a 23-14 halftime lead and extended it to 29-19 after three quarters.

Treavon Evans led the Tarpons with 12 points, and Shawn Cheramie added 11.
