Braves, Lady Tarpons post undefeated weeks

The H.L. Bourgeois boys and South Lafourche girls posted 2-0 records during this week’s high school bowling action in the Houma/Morgan City region.
The Braves opened the week with a 17.5-9.5 win over Terrebonne on Monday and followed it up with a 17-10 win over Berwick on Wednesday. Against Terrebonne, H.L. Bourgeois had five 200 games — Marlow Hinton (232), Cody Hebert (232), Griffith York (211) and Craig Soudlier (202 and 201).Bryce Prestenbach (220) had the Braves’ lone 200 game against Berwick.
South Lafourche’s girls posted wins over Central Catholic-Morgan City (17-10) on Monday and Terrebonne (15-12) on Wednesday. Carly Callais led the Lady Tarpons with a 201 against Central Catholic on Monday, and Seddy Boura had the top game (179) against Terrebonne.
Other boys scores from Monday were Ellender over Vandebilt Catholic (19-8) and Central Catholic over South Lafourche (21-6). Monday’s girls scores were Vandebilt over Ellender (20-7) and Terrebonne over H.L. Bourgeois (21.5-5.5).
On Wednesday, winning teams were Ellender girls (17-10 over South Terrebonne), Terrebonne boys (23.5-3.5 over South Lafourche) and Berwick girls (19-8 over H.L. Bourgeois).
Leading the Patriots in Monday’s win over Vandebilt Catholic were Ronnie Voisin (245) and Adam Jambor (214).
Maryna Rips was the Lady Patriots’ top bowler with a 140 game against 175 game against South Terrebonne.
H.L. BOURGEOIS GIRLS
Bridgette Soudelier led the Lady Braves with games of 184 against Terrebonne and 180 against Berwick.
SOUTH LAFOURCHE BOYS
The Tarpons’ top bowlers were Garret Garza (178) on Monday and Jake Terry (186) on Wednesday.
SOUTH TERREBONNE GIRLS
Erin Ledet rolled a 143 to lead the Lady Gators in Wednesday’s game against Ellender.
Tom Dzarowski rolled games of 242 and 226 in Wednesday’s win over South Lafourche. On Monday, Alex Zanca led the Tigers with a 204.
The Lady Tigers top bowlers were Victoria Rodriguez (131) on Monday and Kristian Coleman (144) on Wednesday.
VANDEBILT CATHOLIC BOYS
The Terriers top bowlers against Ellender were Cameron Head (218 and 201), Ian Crispino (210) and Jacob Arceneaux (203).

Leading the Terriers in Monday’s win over Ellender was Colleen Cheramie (224 and 200).
