Crowdus leads Lady Warriors to win

Lindsay Crowdus had a big game in the circle and at the plate for the Houma Chrisitan Lady Warriors in a 5-3 win over Avoyelles at Friday's Grace Christian Tournament..
Crowdus picked up a complete-game win, giving up three earned runs on five hits with seven strikeouts. She also went 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored and an RBI. Cameron Beal also went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
Houma Christian improved to 10-2 overall.
URSULINE 4, ELLENDER 3
At the Lutcher Tournament, Ursuline scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to edge the Lady Patriots (12-8).
The eighth and ninth innings were played under the international tiebreaker rules, which places a runner at second base at the start of the inning.
The game was scoreless until Ellender took a 1-0 lead in the sixth inning when Kyler Trosclair (2-for-3, run, RBI, two stolen bases) scored on Alyssa Bush's RBI single. Ursuline tied the score in the bottom of the sixth.
In the eighth inning, the Lady Patriots took a 2-1 lead on Trosclair's RBI single, scoring Annie Robinson. Once again, Ursuline scored to tie the game.
Brianna Bourg (2-for-4, RBI, stolen base) ripped an RBI double, scoring Megan Ledet for a 3-2 lead, but Ursuline scored two runs for the win. Bush suffered the loss, giving up one earned run on five hits and 10 strikeouts.
E.D. WHITE CATHOLIC 10, RAYNE 5
At the Brusly Tournament, the Lady Cardinals (8-7) extended their winning streak to three games with Friday's win.
Sydney Bordis led E.D. White's offense, going 2-for-4, including a solo home run, and three RBIs. Abby Richard 3-for-4, including a three-run triple, and four RBIs.
Madison Rodrigue picked up the complete-game win for the Lady Cardinals, giving up five runs (four earned) on nine hits with three strikeouts.
