Lady Tigers stay perfect in district

Terrebonne High's girls soccer team continued its District 7-I dominance against Destrehan on Wednesday.
The Lady Tigers had eight shots on goal and allowed two in their 2-0 shutout win over the Lady Wildcats at Tom B. Smith Stadium.
Terrebonne's record improved to 11-5-2 overall and 8-0 in district play.
The Lady Tigers jumped ahead in the opening half with two goals.
In the 15th minute, Alyson Lecompte pushed an assist that led to a goal from Joelie Cantrelle.
Terrebonne struck again in the 37th minute when Stevie Guin scored off assists from Shelby Johnson and Madison Cruse.
With a 2-0 lead at halftime, the Lady Tigers defense protected the lead with a solid aggressive performance.
Madeline Adams was Terrebonne's goal keeper, finishing with two saves.
CENTRAL LAFOURCHE 4, H.L. BOURGEOIS 1 (GIRLS)
At Mathews, the Lady Trojans jumped out to a 4-1 lead at halftime and never looked back.
Kristen Falgout, Claire Melancon, Emily Duet and Morgan Roger all scored for Central Lafourche.
Alexis Monfra was winning goalie.
VANDEBILT CATHOLIC 3, SOUTH TERREBONNE 0 (GIRLS)
At Bourg, the Lady Terriers improved to 10-5-3 overall and 4-0 in District 7-II with the win.
South Terrebonne, which dropped to 3-5 overall and 1-3 in district, had 25 saves from goalie Hanna Weatherall.

CENTRAL LAFOURCHE 10, H.L. BOURGEOIS 0 (BOYS)
At Mathews, the Trojans took control with a 4-0 halftime lead and scored six second-half goals in the shutout win.
Ryan Breaux and Bud Autin each scored three goals for the Trojans.
Tyler Danos was the winning goalie for Central Lafourche, which improved to 12-7-1 overall and 6-1 in district.
VANDEBILT CATHOLIC 3, SOUTH TERREBONNE 0 (BOYS)
At Bourg, the Terriers used two goals from Chris Wood to secure the District 7-II win.
Vandebilt (10-4-4, 3-0 in 7-II play) led 1-0 at halftime.
Adam Farrar scored a goal for the Terriers.
South Terrebonne's record dropped to 2-7 overall and 1-3 in district.
