Hahnville beats Central Lafourche, 2-0, in boys’ soccer


MATHEWS – The Central Lafourche Trojans dropped the District 7-I match and fell to third place in league play with a 2-0 loss to Hahnville.

ELLENDER 0 (BOYS)

At South Terrebonne Memorial Stadium in Bourg, Dylan Pierce recorded the hat trick and the Cardinals moved to 4-2 in District 7-II.

E.D. White led 2-0 at halftime and got the clean-sheet victory in goal from Bret Pierce.

 

VANDEBILT CATHOLIC 2,

SOUTH TERREBONNE 0 (BOYS)

At Buddy Marcello Stadium in Houma, the match went to overtime scoreless, but the Terriers got a goal each from Chris Wood and Austin Guidry in the extra 10-minute period to seal the District 7-II win.

Patrick Watson got the clean-sheet victory in goal for the Terriers, who improved to 13-4-4 overall and to 7-0 in district.

Domonic Ordoyne had 14 saves in goal for the Gators, who fell to 3-10 overall and 2-6 in district.

 

ST. MARTIN'S 3,

HOUMA CHRISTIAN 0 (BOYS)

At Schriever, the Warriors dropped the District 9-III match and John Broussard had 11 saves in goal for Houma Christian, which had four shots in the match.

 

HAHNVILLE 3,

CENTRAL LAFOURCHE 1 (GIRLS)

At Mathews, the Lady Trojans dropped the District 7-I match and got a goal from Kristin Falgout. The Lady Tigers led 2-0 at halftime.

ELLENDER 0 (GIRLS)

At South Terrebonne Memorial Stadium in Bourg, the Lady Cardinals got a hat trick from Holly Bourgeois and two goals each from Triston Gros and Haley Leblanc and improved to 12-4 overall and 5-1 In District 7-II.

Emily Oldag, Brigiette Bourgeois and Isabelle Soignet each added a goal for E.D. White, which had 29 shots on goal.

Jaqueline Robichaux got the clean-sheet victory in goal for the Lady Cardinals.

 

VANDEBILT CATHOLIC 10,

SOUTH TERREBONNE 1 (GIRLS)

At Buddy Marcello Stadium in Houma, Grace Champagne scored four goals for the Lady Terriers, Emma Domangue and Katelyn Laughlin each had two and Julia Wood and Celeste LeCompte each added one as Vandebilt improved to 15-6 and 6-1 in District 7-II.

Emma Guidry and Kayla Pitre split time in goal for Vandebilt.

Macie Prestenbach scored for the Lady Gators, who ended their season at 4-10 overall and 2-6 in district.
